Leeann Velez Tweeden (born June 13, 1973 in Manassas, Virginia.) is an American model. Tweeden was a correspondent for Fox Sports Net's Best Damn Sports Show Period from 2000 to 2007.
Leeann Tweeden completed her graduation from Osbourn Park High School in 1991 and pursued her career in modeling. In 1992, while working as a hostess at a Hooters restaurant in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she came on first place in the Venus International Model Search and this success led to national coverage. Tweeden modeled for promotional work for Hooters and Venus International along with Frederick's of Hollywood and Playboy.
Leeann featured as the cover girl on FHM’s March 2007 Issue (US issue. In 2008, Hooters' 25th anniversary she was named among "The Top Hooters Girls of all time". She also became the third hostess of the NBC late night television series Poker After Dark in same year.
In 2009 Leeann Tweeden became the public face of the website Autism|Rethinking Autism which uses a series of videos to educate the public about autism. She has also show on the political discussion series Hannity, as a member of the "Great American Panel" and intermittently visible on the panel of the early morning program Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld.
Leeann has been appeared on several magazine’s covers and articles, from health and fitness, to lifestyle, to popular men’s magazines like Maxim, FHM and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Leeann has the maximum ever-selling American version of FHM in history.
In 2011 Leeann was awarded Hall of Fame Award by Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US for her 'outstanding contribution to America's Armed Forces in the form of entertainment'.
Leeann came out with her own line of fun, affordable and sexy lingerie. She has already been marked on "Good Day LA" and Playboy Sirius radio.
