Maria Verchenova (Born 27 March 1986, Moscow Russia) is a Russian professional golfer. Maria Verchenova is the first Russian female golf player to play on the Ladies European Tour.
In 2009, Maria represented Russia at the Comunitat Valenciana European Nations Cup in Spain along with Anastasia Kostina and the pair tied for 17th place.
Maria received a diploma in 'Sports' from the Russian State University of Sport and Tourism in 2009. Her favorite golf course is the Fancourt Georg Golf Club by Gary Player and she loves R&B and Soul music.
