Adriana Monsalve (born July 27, 1977) is a sports presenter of Venezuela and currently co-anchor for ESPN Deportes program. Monsalve joined ESPN in 2007 as an anchor for the Spanish version of SportsCenter after spending the last two years in Orlando as a sports anchor.
Adriana Monsalve, the young journalist aspires to host a TV magazine or newscast in the United States where she can inform the Hispanic community and also serve as a mentor to many women. The young professional sees this as the first step into growing as an anchor in the television business and gaining credibility as a journalist.
Before embarking on his current career as a sports anchor, Adriana first explored her talent for singing, dancing and acting. This gave her first taste of what it means to be in front of an audience.
In 2002, Adriana decided to look bigger dreams in the United States where she has participated in various commercials and theatre productions like "Esther" at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.
The native of Venezuela found a new challenge in 2005 when she accepted to be the sports presenter for the 6:00 pm newscast of Orlando's Telemundo local affiliate.
In 2007 Adriana, took the biggest step in her sports presenting career; ESPN hired her as Sports Anchor of ESPN Deportes broadcasting for Sports Center hispanic viewers in Northamerica, Central and South America.
In 2010, it was announced that Monslave and Mexican sports journalist David Faitelson will be hosting a new program named Nación ESPN, which premiered on February 14, 2011.
